Hybridizer’s Description: 6-way branching. 48 buds. The highest bud count of all of the fall 2003 Introductions, RICTER is also the first daylily I have ever named for a family member so you know it has to be a good one. Named for my cousin Dr. Richard Stamile and his wife Terry Stamile of Tulsa, Oklahoma, RICTER is a large flat pale lavender pink with a gold wire edge. The flowers are smooth with a porcelain like finish and have extraordinary heavy substance. RICTER is a wonderful parent and the parent of some of the prettiest gold edged, flat baby ribbon pinks with silky smooth texture and exceptional clarity of color. Fertile both ways. Reblooms
