Hybridizer’s Description: Reminiscent of the colors in a great blue heron, HERON’S COVE is a pale lavender cream with a gray mauve-lavender eye and edge and Nile green throat. The slide shows much more purple in the eye and edge. HERON’S COVE is very flat and dormant! I have been searching for a dormant eye and edge in this color and expected it to come from the dormant REGAL BRAID. HERON’S COVE not only shows a beautiful new color combination but it is stylishly flat. Blooms have excellent substance and are wide, full and slightly ruffled. A gorgeous daylily and fertile both ways. Lavender cream with pale gray lavender eye and edge above green throat, reblooms
