Seedlings blooming today

I haven’t been able to post lately, and it doesn’t look like I’ll have time for more than weekly updates. We are rapidly approaching peak bloom. With all the rain we’ve had this year it looks like it will be a great season, except for the areas the deer have infiltrated. Unfortunately, several cultivars will not bloom this year thanks to the deer. If you’d like to see for yourself, call 304-395-4525 to schedule an appointment. Remember, we are not a display garden—we have weeds.

Here are some of the seedlings blooming today. Some are first year bloomers, some repeats from last year. I’ve noticed a large increase in the bud count of the older daylilies. Don’t know if it is from all the rain or just being one year older. The oldest are now three years old.
